Manufacturing

We believe in continually pushing the boundaries of going straight to manufacturing from highly advanced computer-generated geometry. And we regularly invest in cutting edge equipment such as our QuickWood Pro 1100 power polishing machine - but we don’t want to be robots. So we’re equally passionate about preserving the skills and value of time-served, traditional bench joiners for hand-crafting bespoke furniture. This way, you get the best of both worlds.

We also understand the need to balance tight programming to hit key target dates with the flexibility to accommodate changing site requirements – sometimes by the hour.

Continual training and assessment play a huge part in what we do. We run annual apprentice schemes, work placements with schools, mandatory training for all including health and safety, and highly specialised training in key processes such as finishing and curing. All our department managers are qualified to NVQ level 3. All our operatives achieve at least NVQ level 2. CITB and City & Guilds NVQ assessors constantly review our factory and on-site operations.
