We're passionate about doing business in a sustainable way, as our world is the only one we have. It's a commitment we take very seriously, so we aim to lead the way for others to follow. This is why we consider the environment in every aspect of our work, from how we source our timber to the despatch vehicles we use.

Time4Trees

As a business that uses and relies on a natural resource, we wanted to put something back. Working with growers of indigenous trees, we support a down-to-earth, practical and proactive tree-planting programme - and you can see the results on our doorstep, right here in Essex and London.

Since 2013 we have planted more than 90,000 trees

Sustainable Timber

We are FSC ® and PEFC certified, guaranteeing a gold standard of ethical production that the timber used is harvested from responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious and economically viable forests.

Powered by Renewable Energy

Our factory is powered completely from renewable energy and our vehicles run on HVO fuel, reducing our CO2 emissions by up to 90%

Biomass Boiler

Our biomass boiler combusts our waste to generate hot water for our factory, to power our spray booths, and to provide underfloor heating for our offices. This reduces our reliance on natural gas and reduces our greenhouse gas emissions.

Waste Management

We employ a total waste management company to recycle all our waste and to divert 100% of our waste from landfill.

Since June 2023 we have maintained a 100% diversion record.

Water-based paints and lacquers

Today, 90% of the paints and lacquers we use are water based, significantly reducing our solvent use. Not only are our reduced VOC emissions better for the environment, but water-based products are much safer to use.
