In order to manage and coordinate fitout projects for the UK’s most prestigious contractors, architects and clients, to strict deadlines, quality standards and environmental compliance, we employ a robust document control process.
We are looking for a methodical and thorough Document Controller with excellent communication and people skills, to coordinate information between our internal departments, and to liaise with external client teams.
Based in Basildon, you will ensure that production based documentation is controlled on client portals/project Intranet systems and in accordance with relevant procedures. In addition you will provide accessibility of information by accurately logging & distributing all client instructions & supporting documentation in a timely fashion, creating, modifying and issuing documents, throughout the business.
Previous experience of document control would be an advantage and we are looking for someone with the following competencies and skills:
• Familiar with Project Intranets; BIW, CONJECT and ASITE
• Excellent IT Skills, advanced work and excel
• Attention to detail and a strong desire for accuracy
• Excellent organisational skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to work is a must in this role
