We are looking for two Bench Joiners to work within our experienced joinery team, here at our busy state-of-the-art 72,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Basildon, Essex. You will get the opportunity to work on a range of exciting prime commercial and residential projects for corporate giants, global brands and some of the most prestigious addresses in London. One day you could be producing something for Google’s new headquarters, the next, working on joinery for a world famous restaurant.

You will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly and preparation of joinery components and are expected to follow detailed production drawings/plans to the exact specifications of our clients.

We are looking for timed-served Bench Joiners with a minimum of 5 years experience, plus an Advanced Carpentry & Joinery C&G Qualification or an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Wood Occupations.

You should be someone who proactively communicates with team members and other departments, and who has excellent attention to detail, to ensure all production documentation is correct for all associated components, prior to commencing work.

Responsibilities include:

• Collating finished works and producing accurate labelling, prior to issuing to either our spray shop or JPQC department.
• Maintaining the high standards of quality set out within Brown and Carroll’s Integrated Management System.
• Assisting with manual handling when required
• Providing assistance to our Laindon teams where necessary.
