We are looking for a Wood Machinist with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to work here at our busy state-of-the-art 72,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Basildon, Essex.

You will be required to read, follow and understand detailed production drawings/plans to exact specifications, while working to minimal tolerances for discerning global brands and ground-breaking projects at iconic London addresses. You will be responsible for the manufacture of joinery components using various timber-based materials including hardwood / softwood, veneered & laminate panels.

We are looking for someone with a relevant industry qualification in Machine Woodworking, excellent communication skills and the ability to problem-solve when faced with challenges.

Previous experience of operating the following woodworking machines is required:

• Dimension Saw
• Drum Sander
• Planer & Thicknesser
• Spindle Moulder
• Cross-Cut Saw
• 4-Sided Planner / Moulder
• Mortiser Machine
• Tenon Machine
• Band Saw
