Fitting out London's finest buildings
The 35 story Centre Point tower is a London landmark and after standing vacant for 10 years, we were honoured to be involved in its magnificent facelift.
Our expert team has completed an extensive fit out of the apartments, including the penthouse, lift lobbies and reception area. The entrance lobby is now home to impressive oak ceiling panels which run the entire length of the building, either side of a curving spine beam. The triangular panels were all made in our Basildon factory and our geometry knowledge was tested with the fitting of them. With 55,000 sqm of oak veneer, all pressed in house, Centre Point is the biggest procurement of oak veneer we’ve ever done.
This important building is now the West End’s tallest residential tower, home to 82 luxury apartments and is one of the tallest buildings we’ve ever worked on. The apartments at Centre Point have double timber doors which meet PAS 24 standards, an enhanced security standard designed to assess how well a door and frame can withstand intruder attempts. It’s the first time that doors like this have achieved this level of security.
