Fourteen team members recently immersed themselves in two days of thought-provoking Leadership & Management Development training. Conducted by Jo Bowditch, an independent trainer who has specialised in the construction industry for over 30 years, the highly interactive sessions covered everything from communication, motivation and successful delegation, through to teamwork, self-development and performance management.
The programme gave delegates the chance to share knowledge and ideas, reflect on what worked well for them and what skills they wanted to improve. Jo also introduced them to new tools and techniques designed to help them become better leaders and managers. The feedback on the sessions was extremely positive and attendees are already putting what they learnt into practice.
