Ivy Asia: next stop for destination restaurants

With London’s St Paul’s Cathedral as a neighbour, diners at The Ivy Asia will expect to be spoilt with a great view. But once they step inside the new restaurant, the lavish interiors will steal the show.

We produced a bespoke, back-lit green, semi-precious stone floor, a dragon ceiling, gold mirrored bar and glass wall panelling, which all create a luxurious and theatrical space.

“This fit out gave us the chance to share our knowledge and experience of other destination restaurants, such as Annabel’s, Sexy Fish and Scott’s Private Dining Rooms. Projects like this allow us to be forward thinking and to continually push the boundaries of what can be created,”

said Darryl Buckley, Projects Director at Brown & Carroll.

Our skills and craftsmanship were certainly put to work during this fit out. We made an 11ft Samurai to watch over diners and another one to go in the men’s toilet. Not something you do every day. Paul Carroll, Managing Director of Brown & Carroll, said:

“To complete a project of this calibre and with this many elements, we needed the commitment of everyone involved. The timescale was challenging which meant long hours, and I want to highlight the extraordinary efforts of Darryl Buckley, Gerald Harris and Darius Augustaukas. But without the mammoth effort of everyone involved from across the business, this fit out simply wouldn’t have been delivered, so thank you everyone.”
