We scooped the Gold (again)

For the third year in a row we’ve been awarded the RoSPA Gold Award for Health & Safety.

The award covers the period of 1st January to 31st December 2018, and illustrates our commitment to maintaining an excellent Health & Safety record. The awards, run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), have a very thorough judging process and are held in high regard all around the world. Trever Baker, our Senior Health & Safety Manager, said:

“We’re committed to ensuring that the health, safety and welfare of all our employees, contractors and visitors isn’t compromised by any of our work activities. To be presented with the Gold Award for the third-year running is no mean feat and we’re especially proud of this achievement.”

The judging panel studied our Health & Safety procedures, both onsite and within the factory, looking at 19 sections, including; leadership and workforce involvement, wellbeing, fleet management, identification of risk and control measures, as well as near miss reporting, accident, and incident rates.
