Fitting out London's finest buildings

Quality has always been our focus and as we reach 29 years in business, it still is. Our roots were in joinery and although it’s still a core part of our business, we’ve evolved into a multi-service business. We work with some of the best architects, interior designers, and construction firms, to give clients a bespoke, high-end finish. We’ve adapted as the industry has changed, and we’ve always tried to be considerate to the environment and the communities in which we work. Here are some highlights from our story so far.

1994

Steve Brown and Paul Carroll found Brown & Carroll London Ltd, having worked together previously at T B Parker & Sons. When the business started it had just 5 members of staff.

1996

£1M turnover achieved. We move to Unit 6 Robert Way, Wickford, Essex. The company is growing and we take the step to introduce mobile phones. Not quite a smart phone yet though.

2013

Our turnover reaches £20M and we complete the fit out for Shell at Canary Wharf.

Three new Iveco vans are added to our ever-growing fleet. These custom-built vans are powered by eco-friendly, Euro 6 Emission standard engines. Plus, built-in air suspension ensures our products arrive unscathed and intact.

2017

We are named as a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer and our turnover breaks through £40M.

Work began at Annabel’s, the private member’s club often visited by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, to name a few. Our work extended across 17 incredible rooms, featuring the finest materials from across the world – from hand-etched Italian glass to de Gournay wallpaper hand-painted in China.
