Gordon became a Director of Brown & Carroll in 2007, with responsibility for design and manufacture.
His extensive industry knowledge of manufacturing, materials and finishes allows him to identify and resolve design and production issues. Gordon’s expertise is also brought to bear on project organisation and logistical planning.
Gordon began his career in 1988 after graduating from City of London Polytechnic/London College of Furniture. He began working as a Furniture Maker and Joiner, and later as a Project and Design Manager of bespoke furniture and joinery for both domestic and commercial clients.
In 1995, Gordon joined The Splinter Group, working as Senior Project Manager and Design Director. Here, he was principally concerned with the design development, manufacture and installation of specialist furniture and joinery within the construction industry. It is this wealth of experience that makes Gordon so invaluable in his position at Brown & Carroll today.
