Working at Brown & Carroll is more than just a job and we are proud of our low staff turnover. As a close knit team our colleagues are like family, so when Paul Biscoe, one of our longest serving Project Managers, announced his retirement, we wanted to give him a send-off worthy of his years of loyal service.

Paul joined Brown & Carroll in 1990, after working for various contractors for several years as a carpenter. His hands-on carpentry expertise combined with his outstanding planning, organisational, and communication skills, made him an invaluable Brown & Carroll Project Manager on a diverse range of projects. These included the Old Bailey, Kensington Palace, the Velodrome, and more recently Bloomberg, as well as high profile restaurants such as Balthazar, The Ivy and Sexy Fish. His wealth of experience and extensive skill set, ensured every project was completed to the highest specification.

As Paul was PM on the Sexy Fish project, we thought it fitting to hold his leaving meal there with Paul Carroll, Steve Brown and nine other staff members past and present. After being presented with his retirement gifts, it was off to a pub in Oxford Street to meet the rest of the team. Around 100 people turned up to wish Paul well, which is testament to the high regard in which he is held.

We thank Paul for his years of hard work and vast contribution to the success of the business. We wish him a well-deserved retirement, much of which he plans to spend in the New Forest.
