We scooped the Gold

For the third year in a row we’ve been awarded the RoSPA Gold Award for health and safety. The award covers the period of 1st January to 31st December 2018, and illustrates our commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record.

The awards, which are run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), are held in high regard all around the world.

Trever Baker, our Senior Health & Safety Manager, said:

“We’re committed to ensuring that the health, safety and welfare of all our employees, contractors and visitors isn’t compromised by any of our work activities. To be presented with the Gold Award for a third-year running is no mean feat and we’re especially proud of this achievement.”

The judging process is very thorough. The panel studied our health and safety procedures, both onsite and within the factory. It looked at 19 sections, including leadership and workforce involvement, wellbeing, fleet management, identification of risk and control measures, as well as near miss reporting, accident and incident rates.
