Wild about Essex…

Grant Maton of Essex Wildlife Trust (EWT), recently popped into our offices to present Paul Carroll with our Investors in Wildlife, Gold certificate. As corporate members, our support will help fund the management and protection of over 8,400 acres of Essex habitat on 87 reserves and 2 nature parks, as well as the 11 centres catering for 314,000 visitors a year.

Without financial support from individuals and businesses like ourselves, EWT would not be able to continue funding 16 staff across the county who provide education programmes to over 58,000 children and adults each year from schools and community groups.

Paul Carroll, MD says:

“We have long been passionate about the environment and sustainability. Essex is where we live and work so becoming an Investors in Wildlife Corporate Partner felt like a natural step. As a local business we are proud to contribute to the important conservation activities that Essex Wildlife Trust carry out, preserving our beautiful countryside and indigenous species for future generations.”

Grant Maton, Corporate Communications Officer at EWT says:

“Local Wildlife Sites support both locally and nationally threatened wildlife, and many sites will contain habitats such as ancient woodland, wildflower meadows and wetlands that are home to some of our most vulnerable species including water voles and otters. The support of our members is critical to the work we do and we are delighted to welcome Brown & Carroll as a partner.”
