Blooming Lovely!

Mike Pearson and Trevor Baker recently paid another visit to Abberton Reservoir Nature Reserve to check on the progress of the 18,000 trees, hedging plants and woody shrubs that we have sponsored over the last three years. These include oak, field maple, holly, crab apple, dogwood and hawthorn.

There were spectacular views across Abberton Reservoir and despite recent dry spells, the miles of hedging plants have established themselves well and are thriving. The trees pictured, planted in Rectory Field, are also putting on good growth and will eventually form a large area of woodland, providing wildlife habitat for years to come.
