A golden age for Health & Safety

We are delighted to announce that Brown & Carroll recently achieved a Gold award in the prestigious Health and Safety Awards run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said:

“The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety, and held in high regard around the world, as winning one demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record. Achieving the standard required is no mean feat.”

Judges considered our performance using a detailed evidence based study of our health, safety and occupational health procedures, both onsite and within the factory. They looked at 19 sections which included leadership and workforce involvement, wellbeing, fleet management, identification of risk and control measures, as well as near miss reporting, accident and incident rates.

Mike Pearson Senior QUESH Manager at Brown & Carroll said:

‘We have always applied rigorous health and safety protocols to safeguard our employees, members of the public and the client environments in which they are working. We are especially proud to be presented with a Gold award as it demonstrates our exceptionally high standards.’
